Today has been astounding.
I took a nap at work, which was quite odd.
But that is not what I am writing about tonight.
Earlier this evening, I was simply hanging out at a friend's apartment when I noticed a picture on her dresser of a girl from India. She told me it was her daughter and we both laughed. Then she told me that it was a girl she had been sponsoring for the past 3 years with 30 dollars a month. I was like, holy cow that is so cool! I want a kid! So, we proceeded to get on the internet, and we looked for almost an hour for a child, and when I saw my "daughter" my heart stopped, and I knew then that I was going to sponsor this girl. She was beautiful, and was old enough to understand what I was doing for her. Here is a little information about her:
Her name is Binte, and she is from Bangladesh. She is currently in 6th grade and is 11 years old. She loves to play badminton and does chores like cleaning and helping her mom. She has 2 sisters.
HOLY CRAAAAAAAAP!!! I am so excited to get my information about her in the mail so I can begin writing to her. I want to send her and her sisters bracelets so they can each wear them. I do not think it is advised that I send anything bigger, though. Sad day..
